Built on a 150 Chassis with a 148″ wheelbase
This van is only 18″ longer than the 7 Passenger Ford Transit. The short front end and tight turning radius make it incredibly easy to drive for a larger vehicle and you’ll find the 9 Passenger seating comfortable for kids and adults alike. Don’t need seating for 9 but would prefer to maximize your interior legroom and storage space? The Extended wheelbase chassis is perfect for whatever needs you may have. All you have to do is ask.
The Extended 9 Passenger Ford Transit by Explorer is available as a Low Top (for those who need under 7′ of clearance), or with our custom Sport Roof (for those who need to be under 8′ of clearance). If clearance is not an issue and you want the maximum amount of headroom just inquire about our conversion on the Ford Factory “Medium Roof” Transit. Whatever your situation is, this van is more than happy to accommodate.
